Day 1: Arrive at Ebenezer Baptist Church

We arrived at the Ebenezer Baptist Church for the 8AM service, only to find that there was a marathon going on around Atlanta and that the 8AM service was canceled.

Atlanta at 7:30AM

The historic civil rights area of Atlanta.

The Ebenezer church was connected to the Martin Luther King Jr. historic museum.

A beautiful mural was painted on one of the walls of the MLK museum.

The famous Ebenezer Baptist Church. Martin Luther King Jr. got his start at this church. The original building shown in this picture was closed for remodeling when we visited them. Unfortunately we were unable to see the pulpit that MLK started his ministry career. Their new building is really impressive though.

Martin Luther King's tomb. It was really cool to be able to see his tomb and get close to the man that changed the world.
